The working brief

Clarity in complex,
data-dense products.

I’m a product designer and researcher who works through real product constraints with research-informed judgment, interaction craft, and a practical handoff mindset. I’m at my best on regulated, high-trust, or 0-to-1 surfaces where the decision matters more than the mockup.

02 · Timeline

Where the work lived — and what it taught me.

  1. 2024 — Present

    Primary UX/UI Designer & Researcher

    BOK Financial · Start Right

    57 / 43 table win · 8.27% baseline CTR

Rolling redesign across four surfaces of a retirement-plan self-service product. Glassbox analytics, heuristic review, Maze usability testing — into cross-platform decisions.

  2. 2024

    Sole Product Designer & Researcher

    Human Design · Venture Pilot

    ~2× reported trust · ~30% faster decisions

0-to-1 AI investment tool in eight weeks. Made the AI’s reasoning legible enough to be trusted at speed. Shared library, signal-first pipeline, calibrated friction.

  3. Prior

    Product & interaction craft

    Selected engagements

    Dense scanning · component patterns

Interaction craft across dashboards, financial tooling, and complex enterprise surfaces. Emphasis on clarity in data-dense products.

03 · Domains

Where the work fits — by product shape, not job title.

  • D.01

    Regulated / financial

Retirement, self-service, terminology consistency across web and native.

  • D.02

    AI-shaped surfaces

Trust, explainability, calibrated friction — 0-to-1 through validation.

  • D.03

    Data-dense products

Dashboards, tables, decision surfaces where scan speed is the feature.

04 · Honest

What I lean into, and what I don’t.

Lean into
  • Regulated, high-trust surfaces where correctness is a design problem.
  • 0-to-1 or a real reset — with room to make the decision, not just the deliverable.
  • Small, opinionated teams with a PM and engineer who can push back.
  • Products where craft and evidence both matter — not one dressed up as the other.
Not for me
  • Pure visual redecoration with no product problem underneath.
  • “Growth”-branded work that is really persuasion against user interest.
  • “Just make it pretty” handoffs disconnected from a decision.
  • Portfolio theater — sticky notes, personas, and journey maps with no decision attached.

Reading the work is faster than reading me. Start with the case studies.
